Free Therapy & A Giant Boat of Women
I have a lot to say, and if you’re reading this, you’re probably in the same boat.
The same giant boat of women (or men) who feel stretched thin, thin, thin but love their lives too much to give anything up. So, instead of therapy – blogging. Why? Because maybe something I have to say (write) is something that will connect with you. It’s a win-win for both of us. Like free therapy. ♥
Working Lunches Revamped
I usually find myself grading papers and pounding down tiny oranges and cold pasta during my “duty-free” lunch so I can get home to my family after the bell rings. Blogging
has been on my mind, but time has prevented me from diving in. So, this is a working lunch blog, written entirely during my lunch break (or any other kind of break).
I’m a middle school teacher, social activist, mom-n-wife, adventurer, feminist, part-time hippie, world and backyard traveler, a thirty-something and the co-founder of Life’s Handy Work, a non-profit advocating for and funding higher education for impoverished youth in Nepal.
One Big Can of Worms
Finally, Fail & Shine is one big can of worms. It’s unfocussed, covering every topic at any given time. That goes against recommended “blog rules” (who are these people with all their rules, anyway?) but, like most women, I have a lot to say – about everything. So, worms it is.
